By donating to the Down Syndrome Association of Greater Charlotte, it means you WILL be making a difference by helping us fulfill our mission to enhance the quality of life for all people with Down syndrome by empowering individuals, families and professionals with information and support through education, social programs and community partnerships throughout the Greater Charlotte area, including 10 counties in NC and 2 counties in SC.

CAMP HOLIDAY is a specialized day camp for campers (ages 5-21) who have Down syndrome. Camp is held at Sardis Presbyterian Church in Charlotte, NC. We offer two 2-week sessions, June 17-28 and July 15-26. Sessions are from Monday-Friday, 9am-4pm.

Our INDEPENDENT LIVING RETREATS for adults (ages 18+) with Down syndrome and/or Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities is a specialized overnight experience that focuses on empowering participants to become more independent, develop healthy relationships and prepare for the world of work.
